靴下産業のクラスター形成に関する研究
—奈良県北西部地域の靴下産業とＤ社の取り組みを中心に—

| Abstract | 周知の通り、近年、国内の繊維産業の衰退が加速している。その最大の要因として、輸入製品の増加が挙げられる。輸入製品が国内市場に影響を与え始めたのは1980年代初頭のことである。当時から国は、繊維産業に対して経済状況などを踏まえ、度々産地企業の集約化を促してきたが、産地企業の集約化は進まなかった。一方で、筆者らは奈良県北西部地域の靴下産業に関する調査研究を試み、企業（D社）主導で、産地のクラスター形成を促し、産地の維持・発展に取り組んでいる事例に注目してきた。本報告では、D社による産地のクラスター形成の取り組みを踏まえ、政府が提言してきた産地企業の集約化の問題点について分析を試みる。 |

| As is well known, in recent years, the decline of the domestic textile industry is accelerating. The increase of imported products is taken as the biggest factor, and it has begun to affect to national market after early 1980's. Since then Government has repeatedly promoted the consolidation of regional companies however, the policies has not worked well and consolidation has not proceeded enough. We have researched the socks industry in Nara Prefecture and focused on the cases of clusters formation lead by companies that maintain and develop the regional industry. In this report we analyze the problems of regional consolidation policies of Government, based on the result of company D's activities. | |
