ISO9000と繰り返す化学災害に関する実証研究

| Abstract | 本研究は、組織行動の方向性の維持・拡大である、組織のモメンタムの方向の転換に与えるプロセスマネジメントの影響を実証する。分析はリレーショナル化学災害データベースの1990年から2009年の化学災害データ84件を用いて、負の二項回帰モデルにより行った。その結果、ISO9000の経験が多いほど事故を繰り返さないことを実証した。さらに、事故の規模とISO9000の経験の交互作用効果により、大きな事故ほど繰り返さず、小さな事故は繰り返す確率が高い一方で、ISO9000の経験年数が多いほどその傾向が弱まった。以上から組織のモメンタムの転換に、プロセスマネジメントが影響を与えることを実証し実務的貢献と組織学習理論への貢献を行った。 |

| This study demonstrates that process management influences switch of organizational momentum direction. Organizational momentum is, preservation and expansion of the direction of organizational action. This research analyze 84 incidents data from 1990 to 2009 in “the Chemical Disaster database" using negative binomial regression. Analysis results show that greater ISO9000 experience prevents discrete recurrence of chemical disasters. Furthermore, interaction analysis reveals that big disasters prevent reduplication of the disasters, but small disasters recur with a high probability. Meanwhile, the recurrence of small disasters decrease depending on the extent of ISO9000 experience. This study contributes practical and organizational learning through identifying the manner in which process management influences switch of organizational momentum direction. | |
