クラウドファンディング「Kickstarter」の事例研究

| Abstract | 不特定多数のクラウド（群集）がイノベーションの中心者となる新しいイノベーションを、「クラウドイノベーション」と名づけて提案した。「クラウドファンディング」，「クラウドソーシング」等を活用することによりイノベーションを促進できる。今回は、世界最大のクラウドファンディング「キックスターター」の事例を分析した。キックスターターにおいて、2014年に22252プロジェクトが資金を得た。技術分野は、1124件と全体件数の5.0％であるが、125百万ドルと出資総額529百万ドルの23％を占める。技術分野は1件あたり11万ドルと1件あたり出資額が大きくイノベーション促進に寄与している。クラウドファンディングは、長所は多いが課題もある。 |

| I have already proposed the new business model "crowdinnovation", which is the “crowd-centered innovation." By using “crowdfunding", “crowdsourcing" etc., the innovation can be accelerated. In this report, the case of “Kickstarter", which is the world largest crowdfunding, was analyzed. In 2014, 22,252 projects were successfully funded on Kickstarter. In the technology category, 1124 projects (5%) were funded and $125 million (23%) was pledged. The fund per project in the technology was very large as $0.11 million. It contributed to accelerate the innovation. The “crowdfunding" has many advantages, but has many problems. | |
