| Abstract | 実名利用を基本とするソーシャルメディアでは、婚姻その他で氏を変えた人が旧姓をそのまま実名として使ったり、あるいは別名として併記したりしている。旧姓使用には、人脈をそのまま保持できる利便性がある一方で、旧姓を併記することにより、家族関係を明示してしまうことや、いわゆる「秘密の質問」として挙げられる「母親の旧姓」を公開してしまうといったリスク、さらに旧姓を実名として使うことにより、たとえば課金や利用者死亡時のアカウント操作など、日本で言えば戸籍上の氏名を必要とされる際の本人確認の問題がある。本稿では、こうした現状を考察し、利点と問題点を明らかにする。 |
