世界と日本のIS学会差

| Abstract | 世界中にIS分野の研究者がいる中、北米が大半を占めており、次いではヨーロッパである。アジアやアフリカは未だ発展途上である。そのアジアの中でもとりわけ日本は後を追っている状況であり、国際的な学会や専門誌で研究を発言していはいるものの、その成果が世界標準へ到達しているとは認められていない。本研究では、日本国内で主に進められている分野を改めて見直し、なぜ国際社会へ届いていないかを追及する。具体的には過去20年間のAIS八つのIS誌に発表された研究者の自国での学会の歩みを分析し、昨年度からの軌跡を辿り世界と日本の見方の違いを調査していく。 |

| IS research has been shown to be predominantly US centric. This dominance means Japanese content does not reach the international community. Lack of Japanese output is troublesome as IS research exchange is lacking. This research will identify the prevalent research in Japan that is not reaching an international audience via research output analysis. The current study will look at over 20 years of historical data of the ‘basket of eight' IS journals according to home institution of authors. Then will look at two international conferences (ICIS and AMCIS) and two Japanese conferences (JASMIN spring and fall) from 2014 and compare the tracks to see where the discrepancies in research output lies. | |
