生命科学分野の研究機関への調査結果に基づく求められる研究者の評価指標

Abstract

イノベーションの実現や科学技術の発展に有望な研究者の発掘や育成が必要である．そのためには研究者の適切な評価が重要となるが，現状の評価指標には客観性や若手評価等において課題もあり，新たな評価指標が望まれる．著者らは，求められる研究者の能力や経歴について生命科学分野の研究機関に対してアンケートを行い，その結果，求められる研究者の要件として，専門的な知識や技能とともに，協調性や自律性という資質が必要であることが分った．本稿では，アンケートの結果を報告すると共に，現状の評価指標の課題の解決に向け，この結果を踏まえた新たな研究者評価指標の提案を行う．

It is necessary to discover and foster promising researchers for the realization of innovation and the development of science and technology. For that, proper evaluation of researchers is important, but the current evaluation indicators have problems to be solved from the viewpoints of evaluation of young researchers, etc. The authors made a survey to research institutes in the life sciences field about the competencies and career of the required researchers, and found that cooperativeness and autonomy are necessary as well as specialized knowledge and skills as required conditions for the researchers. In this paper, we report the result of the survey and propose a new researcher evaluation indicator based on this result toward solving the problem of current evaluation indicators.
