情報技術の進展が銀行業の株価へ与える影響に関する実証分析

Abstract

フィンテックの推進により個人向けの送金や融資は、より安く便利なフィンテック企業に置き換わり、既存の金融機関が手数料で稼ぐことが厳しくなることが指摘されている。しかし、都市銀行は、フィンテック企業ではなく都市銀行が中心となってフィンテックを推進できると考えている。本研究は銀行業におけるフィンテックやクラウドなどの情報技術の推進に対する株式市場の評価を分析することを目的としている。市場の評価を見ることによって銀行業と株主との見解の違いを確認することができる。分析にはイベントスタディの手法を用いる。

It is pointed out that remittances and loans to individuals by promoting FinTech will be replaced by FinTech companies' service, which are cheaper and more convenient, and it will become more difficult for existing financial institutions to earn by commission. However, city banks believe that not FinTech companies but city banks can promote FinTech. This research aims to analyze the evaluation of the stock market for the promotion of information technology such as FinTech and Cloud in the banking industry. By looking at the market valuation you can confirm the difference between the banking industry and the shareholders. For the analysis, we use the method of event study.
