研究開発能力が知識の外部ネットワーク形成に与える影響
石油化学企業の特許と技術導入に関する実証研究

| Abstract | 本研究は、特許が組織の外部ネットワーク形成に与える影響を実証した。特許は、企業の製品イノベーションを起こすための研究開発能力の指標となる。石油化学企業の技術導入データを利用して、ネットワーク分析を複数年行った。さらに算出されたネットワーク分析指標と企業情報を組み合わせて、パネルデータによる統計分析を行った。その結果、登録特許数が多いほど、組織の外部ネットワーク形成において、組織が持つネットワークのサイズと効率性が促進された。これにより、研究開発能力が高い企業ほど、技術導入に関する外部ネットワークから獲得できる知識の多様性が高いうえに、効率的に獲得できるネットワークを持つことを実証した。 |

| This study demonstrates the influence of patents on the formulation of firms' external network. The prior research indicates that patents are an index of a firm's research and development (R&D) capability for product innovation. We employ a network analysis using a panel data from the petrochemical industry. In addition, this research also employs a statistical analysis using the index from the network analysis and firm data. The result shows that high R&D capabilities'firm has the external organizational network of technology-in that has a characteristic of high knowledge diverseness and knowledge acquisition efficiency. | |
