オンラインコミュニケーション研究の重要性が高まっている中、会話中の沈黙に関しての研究は比較的未開拓の領域である。くわえて、オンラインツールでの視覚的な手がかりについても既存研究では細分化が不十分である。本研究では、オンラインツールでの二者会話において、視覚的な手がかりが沈黙の発生に与える影響と、沈黙が二者の会話評価に与える影響を調べることで、既存の沈黙研究を拡張し、また組織運営者にオンラインツール運用の判断材料を提供する。
With the growing importance of online communication research, the study of silence in conversation is a relatively unexplored area. In addition, the existing research on visual cues in online tools is not sufficiently detailed. This study extends the existing research on silence by examining the effects of visual cues on the occurrence of silence and the effects of silence on the evaluation of conversations between two people using online tools. It will also provide organizational administrators with decision-making tools for online tool operation. - Keywords
